I've done a minor upgrade to DPT to celebrate the 500,000+ downloads! The screens have been changed slightly to try and make them more intuitive. We've also added some new test patterns (Although this is DPT it also has a wide variety of test patterns for checking colour and contrast as well). I've also changed the gradient test screens to draw separately on each screen attached. (Addition : I've also code signed this now) |

I actually rewrote the front end to Batch Sizer a couple of months back! So as the new website is out, decided I might as well release the new Batch Sizer :) |

I've just been adding a new module to display the number of downloads (non direct) from my webserver. Whilst adding this I just realised that the freeware "Dead Pixel Tester" has now had over 1/2 million downloads! WOW! |

Thankfully populating this new site with all the content from the old www.dps.uk.com site is happening quite quickly. All the freeware/contact pages are now over, along with some basic software details, and the start of the shareware information. Should be another couple of days and then I'll redirect traffic from the old site to here! |

Site upgraded to Joomla RC3 |

Did a quick upgrade this morning to Joomla RC3... but I did it too quick! I logged in to my server as root, pulled down the TAR file then unpacked it. It was then I realised that I'd forgotten to switch to the account user and then all hell broke loose. So I thought the easiest thing was to then restore the site as of last night and try again, only to find out my backups are not wokring either. In the end I had to delete everything and unpack again in the correct account and re-install the additional plugins/modules that I have. Great way to start the morning! Still I now have the freeware donation page, and also the shareware lost key pages now wokring. The next thing to do is add in one of the shareware applications and then test the purchase system again! |
