Data Product Services Ltd. is pleased to announce their latest product Tools'4'Tape. While Tapewise will remain our main application for the large and enterprise data centres, Tools'4'Tape will now allow the smaller companies to perform some of the tasks in Tapewise but at a much lower cost.

This is a brand new application, written from scratch and not sharing any of the code structure of Tapewise. Secondly the structure of Tools'4'Tape is set with plugins, allowing you to only buy the plugins you require, again saving you money. For the launch of Tools'4'Tape the most popular tasks in Tapewise have been emulated and include :-

• Library control (Automated testing)
• Health check (Read and write check tapes)
• Security erase (Erase tapes before disposal/resell)
• Tools (Free with base allowing simple commands)

New plugins will be released as they are written, and you can upgrade or add plugins at any time.
